Building on the success of the original solar car park installation at Wests Illawarra Leagues Club, Stage 2 will deliver an additional solar canopy bay at the same site — expanding both shaded parking and onsite renewable energy generation through an additional renewable energy asset.

The Stage 2 project will extend Canyon Solar’s modular, prefabricated solar canopy system, maintaining the same high standards of design, durability, and minimal operational disruption achieved during Stage 1. By using a factory-first construction approach, the additional bay will be installed efficiently while preserving car park access for members, guests, and staff.

Once complete, Wests Illawarra Leagues Club Stage 2 will further enhance member comfort, increase onsite solar generation, and strengthen the club’s long-term sustainability and energy strategy.
