Canyon Solar’s prefabricated, high-capacity solar canopy provided the ideal solution to a key challenge for the club: minimising onsite construction.
With a busy carpark central to daily operations, reducing disruption to patrons and protecting revenue was critical. By prefabricating 80% of the structure offsite, Canyon Solar significantly reduced construction time and site risk.
This was also the first project where crane lifts were used to install the canopy pods—an approach that further accelerated the installation process and has since become our standard practice. The entire canopy was installed and commissioned in under four weeks—delivering clean energy with minimal impact to the club’s day-to-day operations.
